Bikes of all sizes can be hired
locally for hours or days to suit your needs. Just outside La Marina,
in the area known as “The Vega Baja” there are many flat country roads,
meander along these and view The Orange and Lemon groves, plus all the
other local produce grown in this fertile area.
Alternatively you may want to cycle
to the beach, visiting a local bodega on the way…

was opened in 1989 and although not as hazardous as Villamartin, it is
the most panoramic of the courses in the region. The expansive fairways,
excellent greens and lakes deceive the player somewhat, making this a
long and testing course with six "dog legs" to keep you on your toes.
The beautiful Club House of Campoamor which has recently been built
offers the golfer and local resident bars and restaurant facilities with
spectacular views overlooking the lush green fairways.
The layout of this course has been adapted both to the professional
player and the amateur. The fairways are wide and long but the greens
and the inclination of the fairways are the big challenges.

Established for 25 years. This championship golf course was the venue
for the P.G.A. Mediterranean Open 1994, an event which attracted such
well known golfers as Severiano Ballesteros, Jose Maria Olazabal, Frank
Nobilo, Ernie Ells and Howard Clark. Many other competitions also take
place, both Pro-Am and amateur and are sponsored by such household names
as Mercedes, JB Whisky, Corte Ingles, Audi, Rolex etc. This is the
oldest of the three local golf courses and is really breathtaking in its
beauty. Playing over undulating fairways to well protected greens, no
two holes are alike on this superb course.
The variety of the 18 holes offered by this course was achieved thanks
to an excellent design that gives enthusiasts the chance to enjoy using
all 14 clubs from their bags. Of note are the fast greens which are
always magnificently maintained.
